Our Story.

Formerly known as Advance Drywall, Antonick Interiors is a full service residential and commercial drywall contractor founded by Pino Liberatori.

Founder

Born on April 28, 1947, in the small town of Sezze, Italy. Pino Liberatori immigrated to Canada at the age of 19 in pursuit of new opportunities. With nothing but a strong work ethic and determination, he and his brother Lidano self-taught themselves the drywall finishing trade, mastering the craft through hands-on experience. Over the years, Pino worked his way up in the industry and played a pivotal role in founding Advance Drywall. Under his leadership, the company grew into one of Ottawa’s largest and most respected drywall firms, completing landmark projects such as 90 Elgin, Nortel Lab 5, Constitution Square One, 269 Laurier and many more. His dedication and expertise have left a lasting impact on the Ottawa skyline.

Today, Advance Drywall has been rebranded as Antonick Interiors, marking a new chapter in the company’s legacy. At 79 years old, Pino remains President, proudly leading the business. However this time, with his entire family now working alongside him. His vision, dedication, and craftsmanship continue to shape the construction industry in Ottawa and beyond.

1977 - 2015

In the summer of 1979, a newly established drywall company, Advance Drywall, took notice of a rising talent. The owners had heard of a young and ambitious taper making a name for himself with one of their main competitors and saw his potential. They offered Pino a position as lead foreman, recognizing his expertise and leadership. Just a few years later, in 1984, Pino’s dedication and skill earned him a place as co-owner of the company. His relentless drive played a pivotal role in revitalizing Advance Drywall, transforming it from a struggling business into Ottawa’s leading drywall contractor.

Antonick Interiors Inc.

2015 - 2024

After running Advance Drywall for 36 years, Pino rebranded in 2015 to become Antonick Interiors. Named after his two grandsons, Antonio & Nicholas, Antonick was created to carry on his legacy while fulfilling Pino’s lifelong dream of opening his own company. He envisioned building a business that would not only honor his hard work and dedication but also create a lasting legacy for his family. With a commitment to quality and craftsmanship, the name Antonick symbolizes the next chapter in the family’s tradition and a fresh approach to meeting the evolving needs of clients in the construction industry.

A New Era.

2024 - Present

As Pino approaches retirement, Antonick underwent its first major visual overhaul in over 40 years. With an eye firmly on the future, our new visual identity embraces the principles of simplicity and minimalism. This fresh look reflects not only the evolving nature of our brand but also our commitment to sustainable building practices and environmental responsibility, values that are now integral to every aspect of our operations and services. At the same time, we continue to honor the legendary craftsmanship and dedication to quality that our clients have come to know and trust.
