Building Toward a $500,000 Commitment to The Ottawa Hospital

Antonick was proud to take part in the 41st Annual Walls and Ceilings Contractors Association – Ottawa (WACCA) Charity Golf Tournament, held September 15 at The Marshes Golf Club.

The sold-out tournament brought together leaders and organizations from across Ottawa’s construction industry for a day focused on community, collaboration and giving back.

Most importantly, the 2026 tournament raised more than $100,000 for The Ottawa Hospital Foundation, marking a strong first year toward WACCA’s new five-year charitable commitment.

Earlier this year, Antonio and WACCA announced its 5 to 500K campaign, pledging to donate $500,000 to The Ottawa Hospital Foundation over five years in support of the Campaign to Create Tomorrow and Ottawa’s new hospital campus.

A New Leadership Role

This year’s tournament also marked a new chapter for Antonick Interiors Vice President Antonio Repaci, who now serves as Chair of WACCA’s Golf Committee.

After previously serving on the Golf Committee and helping deliver the 40th Annual WACCA Charity Golf Tournament in 2025, Antonio stepped into the Chair role for 2026, working alongside WACCA Executive Director Derek Smith, the Golf Committee and the WACCA Board of Directors to organize one of the association’s largest annual charitable events.

The role reflects Antonick Interiors’ continued commitment to contributing to Ottawa’s construction industry beyond the job site and supporting initiatives that create a lasting impact in the community.

QUOTE

“Taking on the role of Chair this year was an incredible opportunity. Our committee set out to build on more than four decades of tradition while beginning an ambitious new commitment to The Ottawa Hospital. Raising more than $100,000 in our first year shows what Ottawa’s construction industry can accomplish when we come together behind a common purpose.”

5 to 500K

The 41st Annual WACCA Charity Golf Tournament marked an important first step in WACCA’s newest charitable commitment.

Through the 5 to 500K campaign, WACCA has pledged to donate $500,000 to The Ottawa Hospital Foundation over five years, supporting the Campaign to Create Tomorrow and the development of Ottawa’s new hospital campus.

With more than $100,000 raised through this year’s tournament, WACCA has already made significant progress toward that commitment in year one.

For Antonick Interiors, supporting initiatives like this reflects a belief that the companies helping build Ottawa also have an important role to play in supporting the people and institutions that make the city stronger.

Building More Than Interiors

For more than four decades, the WACCA Charity Golf Tournament has demonstrated the generosity and strength of Ottawa’s walls and ceilings industry.

Antonick Interiors is proud to see our Vice President take on the role of Golf Committee Chair and help lead the tournament into its next chapter.

Our industry helps build this city every day. Through initiatives such as the 5 to 500K campaign, we are equally committed to helping build a stronger future for the people who call Ottawa home.

Antonick Interiors looks forward to continuing its support of WACCA, The Ottawa Hospital Foundation and the journey toward $500,000 over the next five years.
